If f(x)=g(t+x)f(x)=g(t+x), then

f(x)=g(x+t)f'(x)=g'(x+t)

by Exercise 8a).

If f(t)=g(t+x)f(t)=g(t+x), then

f(t)=g(t+x)f'(t)=g'(t+x)

and

f(x)=g(2x).f'(x)=g'(2x).
